Garden Celebration

Hello, I hope all is well as it can be with you. Today I am sharing a very special garden which
I made for someone’s 90th  birthday. He is a keen gardener so a garden scene was the most obvious choice. I had a lot of fun creating this, lots more photos and details are over on the Calico Craft Parts Blog today.

Thank you for visiting, and please stay safe xx

A little sharing Book case

Hello, how are you today? I am not sure how widespread this is, but where I live some people have been hand making little bookcases from boxes etc and placing them in their front gardens. They fill them with books for others to take or swap. I am not a book reader myself, but this is such a nice idea I thought I would make a miniature version using Calico Craft Parts Punch and Judy Kit and Graphic 45’s Mother Goose papers. I am not sure if the Mother Goose range is still available as I have had it for quite a number of years 😁 There are more details about my little bookcase on the Calico Craft Parts Blog

Alice In Fiskars Land

I made this 3d scene for one of my Fiskarettes UK design team posts.I love Alice in Wonderland! I have had a set of little wooden tables for ages, but I have never used them! So I finally decided I would put one together, and then continued to have a lot of fun creating the Alice scene around it.

The Fiskars 3 in 1 tag maker is brilliant it easily cuts through shrink plastic! After punching it out I wrote ”Drink Me” onto it before shrinking it and tying it around the minature bottle. I then punched out a lots of hearts and painted them red, and glued them vertically up from the top of the table. The  circle punch was really useful to punch out a clock from some patterned paper, and I also used the beautiful butterfly punch to perch a butterfly on the edge of the  table.
I finished by adding some small playing cards which came out of  a Christmas cracker, and lots of other embellishments such as a hanging key, a pot etc etc

The lovely Alice stamp is made by Carabelle Studio

Thank you so much for visiting.
