Holding on to Hope

Hello how are you? It is a long time since I have posted as I have been unwell and unable to craft.
I have recently started to craft again. I am of course still staying home, and like so many others I have since March last year. We are in another Lockdown here in the UK, and things have been much worse in my area than they were when the Pandemic first began. Who could have ever imagined over 100 thousand people in this country would lose their lives to this awful virus.

I have been attempting some art journalling, and I decided to try and draw a swan, which is above. She holds a heart in her mouth with the word Hope on it.

I plan to visit everyone’s blogs soon, and I hope to take part in challenges again.
Take care and please stay safe xx

My Tammy - quick painting

I drew my darling Tammy for a junk journel Challenge on Facebook. I found a photo of Tammy from Christmas 1985 she was holding an empty packet of chocolate fingers, which she must have happily retrieved from somewhere! I remember that we only ever used to have chocolate fingers at Christmas.

I sketched Tammy in pencil and then used my pastels to colour her. I was determined to do this all quickly  as I know I would just keep going until I thought it was good enough, but that would never happen !

I think I may add some words to the picture I am not sure.....

Thank you for visiting .
